THE EXPRESS ROOM

This room was an extension of the ticket office and most likely used as a baggage room. Passengers would drop off their baggage using the north doors. Baggage was checked in and then transfered to the train platform, where it was loaded onto the baggage car. This was also where packages and mail were handled.
