RANDALL ROAD SCHOOL HOUSE

The 1861 Randall Road one-room schoolhouse was moved to the museum grounds, renovated and dedicated on May 18, 1997. Each spring, today's students visit and learn about what education was like years ago.

As of 1859, the Town of Wilson was divided into seventeen different school districts, including District #8. Students in district #8 attended this one-room schoolhouse on Randall Road, shown in its original location, circa 1950.
